MS According to me. (I buid strategy all day long) A trailing stop must have two parameters First The floor amount and then the trailing percentage. This is just for your information
MS Example: you buy a stock at $ 100 and you wnat to start trailing when it reachs 110.00 and then you trail by 2% or whatever. So the floor amount is 110.00 and the percentage is 2%. If the stock goes to 120.00 and then drop 2% you will be stop. That is my understanding of a Trailing stop

rwalsh okay MS, maybe that is why i see 2 diff prices on my screen when i hit trailing stop key.....one is the floor (110), and second is the stop of say 5 cents lower than that....so it wont really trigger till i get past that first number.....i'll try that, Thx for you help
