Gantra: the stops tend to be reasonable first thing inthe morning but itseems like as the day goes on, the stops are often over 2%. That means one loss take s out 2 winners. Tough to stomach.

Ruben: Elaine, I set all the entry automatically placing stop limits. If I haven't time, I let it go
Gantra: ken, by first thing i mean first 5 to 10 minutes of trading since there as been relatively modest movement...but as the first 5 to 10 minutes turns into first few hours, stocks have time to trade larger movements. then when one enters they have to palce the stop a good deal away at a point of support/resistance. First thing in the morning you just put the stop in above/below the high/low of the day, which is oftern quite tight. Anway, my observation on that.
