chrysler I've had 2 times (that I remember) where I've had a overnight position and the stock has been halted. Once was with TASR and the other with RIMM. I"m hoping that never happens during a daytrade!

chrysler JQ, in my RIMM & TASR experiences, both happened during the regular trading day. I don't remember the specifics any more but thankfully both worked in my favor when they resumed trading again.

chrysler That's why I'll never do more than 20% of my margin buying power in any 1 day-trade position as it could really throw my account for a loop against me!
chrysler The scary part is that you have no idea when the stock will resume trading so you don't dare leave the computer as (in my cases anyway) I was afraid what the results would be when it resumed.
