One day (while driving back from Sioux Falls, SD) there were storms all around me and I had my camera with me hoping to spot a tornado as there were warnings everywhere but unfortunately it was raining so hard that I could say a tornado that (according to radio reports) was only 2 miles away from me!

chrysler I remember back in the summer of 1987, I and my youngest sister were the only ones home at the time. We were out on the road watching the storms come and all of a sudden the wind got very strong so we headed for the house. After being in the basement for about 10 minutes, we came out and although we had no damage to buildings, we had 1 elevator that was at a 45 degree angle and resting on the PTO shaft and the other elevator was flat on the ground (and this was chained to the wire corn crib so something broke both chains!!).
