chry We had a few goats one time (just to keep the hog yards trimmed down after we got rid of the hogs) and they do a good job but then you have to keep the fence up (which was in sad shape after the hogs!).

chry johnboy, at my place I have a 42" cut Dixon ZTR and my neighbor has a Country Classic 50" cut ZTR.  Using the ZTR mowers is more fun than a traditional but they suck when you are on a slanted area so I have a push mower for that fun part.

johnboy yeah, they're kind of unstable..........all jokes aside, a guy I worked with died mowing his lawn when he fell off the mower  and........well you get the picture........kind of scary

chry The worst part about farming is you have no control of the weather and that can make or break you every year.  It also is a very dangerous profession.  My dad lost 2 fingers back in the 1950's (got them caught in a corn picker) and I know 5 farmers who are missing some form of a body part due to the dangerous machinery.
