Ken-ST Moderator: SMH is in an overall downtrend with its 20 day EMA below the 50 day EMA.   It is finding inital resistance at the 20 day EMA currently.  Even if it surges past the recent high, it still has the 50 EMA to contend with.   Taken into account the market as a whole, the stock may be in at best a sideways range until the market in general breakouts
