chrysler Curious as to how some here enter their opening position.  Do you use a market, limit or stop order?  I always like to use a market order to exit a position 9unless I'm going to be away from the computer) but am never sure what works best on a day-trade to enter a position so any tips would be appreciated.

DavidBer JPJ - Fidelity has none to short as well.  From what I know about shorting, it goes as follows - in house inventory, market makers and then look out and about.

James-ST Moderator: On impulse, I told her that no, and that I was starting the Purina Dry Dog Food Diet again. Although I probably shouldn't because I'd ended up in the hospital last time, but that I'd lost 50 pounds before I awakened in an intensive care ward with tubes coming out of most of my orifices and IVs in both arms. I told her that it was essentially a perfect diet and that the way that it works is to load your pants pockets with Purina nuggets and simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry and that the food is nutritionally complete so I was going to try it again.

chrysler mellow, I just returned and although my sell trigger of 65 wasn't hit on CEPH, I was very disaappointed to see that I missed a nice little run.  I just sold and only got 65.35 (only a $108 profit) but better a profit than a loss.  It will probably zoom upward now that I have exited.
