jj31 Hi Ken and James, I have a question. I keep missing trades as I wait for the price to trigger while staring at the screen, so I checked out my broker IB's conditional orders. It shows that I can place a conditional order for say ADBE to short at $28.77 and under Trigger Information, I can select Last, Double Last, or Double Bid/Ask as the Trigger Method, then Trigger order when price is <= or >= 28.77. Two things, which of Last, Double Last or Double Bid/Ask should I choose? I don't really understand what they mean. Secondly, there is no option to trigger order when price is = 28.77 exactly. Is it proper to select <= then for a short? I don't exactly want to get a fill at 28.69, for example. What do you think?
