Penfold ok - definitions: Order - The initial order - Sell for short, Buy for long.  Stop is the price that you want to dump the stop because its going against your position (your getting a loss) - Limit is normally for the final sale price you are looking for - that way if it does a quick run up just to or past your exit price, you can sell before it starts to (possibly) run down

Penfold (my second sentance should say Stop is the price that you want to dump the STOCK... - sorry)
