Pontifficator let me ask you financially savy people here a question...I just looked at a new condo for $1,250,000 for sale by the developer and the apt next door was for rent by the new owner...the rent is only $4,500 and my mortage at 30 years with no money down would be a little over $8,000 a month not including Common Charges of $1,000 but thankfully the RE taxes are abated for 20 years...should I buy and pay $9,000 a month and easily risk loosing 20% of the value over the next 2 years or should I rent for half the price...you tell me???
