ZacS first day here.  It's been a fun morning.  Been swing trading part time the past couple months and have free time and a couple questions for you guys

ZacS with about 56k in capital and margin, how many shares should I usually buy since it seems we're in multiple shares at a time.

ZacS that's what I've been doing this morning keeping it around 5k to 7k.  for about 10% of my capital before margin.  Is this about a right recomended amount.

James-ST Moderator: as the stock moves or consolidated we will look at the 5 or 1 minute chart for a tigher stop level based on noted resistance or support

James-ST Moderator: Type A are ALWAYS initally 1.5%, and from there we tighten as well.

James-ST Moderator: You will find that although we only book 1%, the strategies are very useful in finding the daily runners and most active stocks.....why play a stock that isnt moving?

James-ST Moderator: So we recomend placing secondary stop strategies in case the stock turns out to be a runner......
